On the third morning of our trip we woke up on the shore of Ketchikan, Alaska. This small fishing town is partly built on a mountain's foot face, which means that some streets are connected by high and long flights of stairs, which are themselves named like streets.
We also went on a guided hike into Alaska's rain forest (an area which regularily gets over 4000 mm of rainfall annually). I saw wildlife on this hike: 3mm long salmon at the beginning of their lifecycle. I took no pictures of those.
